Oak Lawn Police Department:

On September 26, 2015 from 10 AM – 2 PM Police Departments around the Nation will be accepting un-used and/or expired over the counter (OTC) medications as well as prescription medicines that are turned in by citizens.  (Only pills and patches can be accepted.  No liquids, Needles or sharps.) Oak Lawn has been participating in this initiative twice yearly for the past four years.  Oak Lawn Residents no longer have to wait for these opportunities since October 1, 2014 when we received a grant from CVS Pharmacy for a drug collection container which is available year round at the front desk area of the Police Department. (Pictured)  Oak Lawn will still participate in the Collection program as in the past, however, its citizens can drop off their unused OTC and prescription medications 7 days a week from 8AM -10 PM.
