This Board of Directors meeting had a fairly light agenda, however a few noteworthy actions were taken that will be of interest to residents.  

The Board finalized the rental property registration and inspection fees.  Rental registration and inspections will help assure all  residents that homes, apartments or condos that are rented out are up to code and compliant with all ordinances. Yearly fees range from $75.00 for condominiums to $500 for 17 units or more.   Rental property owners and interested residents can view a pre-inspection check list on our website by clicking: .

A liquor license was approved for “The Whistle” which will open at 4909 W. 95th Street (formerly SIP) in early 2016.  The owner of “The Whistle” is a former owner of Trio on Southwest Highway in Palos Heights and is making a substantial investment and will open both rooms into a larger open space, expand the kitchen and create a sports bar theme with large flat-screen televisions throughout.  They will be open for lunch and should be an exciting addition to 95th Street night life.  We congratulate “The Whistle” and welcome them to Oak Lawn.
