The Board approved new waste pick up rates which are 11.9% lower than 2012 rates, but reflect a small increase from 2015. The average home will pay about 31 cents more per month and seniors will pay about 29 cents more. Republic has worked with the Village to keep these changes as low as possible.
Public Works received approval for a lease on a new pick up truck for their sewer division. Mayor Bury congratulated all Athletic Trainers during a Proclamation of National Athletic Trainer’s Month.
Mayor Bury appointed 5th District Trustee Bud Stalker as the new Fire Department Liaison to the Board and thanked Trustee Olejniczak for his years of service.
