From 9pm Friday night, March 6, until Sunday night, March 8, Kostner Avenue, between 95th St. and 93rd St., will be closed to through-traffic to allow for installation of a pedestrian bridge between the Hospital’s new Bed Tower and Parking Garage A.
During that time:
- access to the Hospital’s Main Entrance (4440 W. 95th St.) and the Professional Office Building (4400 W. 95th St.) will be from 95th Street only.
- access to the Children’s Hospital, North Office Building, Garages B and C, and Manor Care (9401 S. Kostner Ave.) will be from 93rd Street only.
The closure will apply to both vehicles and pedestrians.
This will involve no changes to Kilbourn Avenue or access to Christ Medical Center’s Emergency Department.
As soon as the work is completed, the roadway will re-open to traffic, one-way northbound, as it is today.
