OFFICIAL NOTICE STREETS DIVISION / STREET SWEEPING is tobegin on Monday, October 16, 2017. The process will take two weeks the first time out and residents are asked to have their vehicles off the streets on the day designated for their area.This will ensure that the streets are swept without the hindrance of parked cars.

The Oak Lawn Fire Department currently does not run a certified firefighter academy. From 1987 until 2008 nearly 1000 firefighters across the state of Illinois, received their initial certification training at the Oak Lawn Fire Academy.

I’m an Oak Lawn resident, why did I get a bill for using the ambulance service?
Everyone who receives ambulance services from the Oak Lawn Fire Department will receive a bill. You just need to fill in your insurance information and return to the billing service. They will bill your insurance company and you will not be charged for your co-pay. Most residents have comprehensive health insurance which covers the cost of ambulance service so less of your dollars go towards property taxes to pay for excellent emergency rescue services 24/7. If you do not have insurance, you may contact the billing service at 1-800-244-2345 to make arrangements.
I used the ambulance service, how do I get a copy of the paramedic’s report?
Go to Station #2 located at 6451 W. 93rd Place, Monday thru Friday between 8:30 - 4:30. With a photo ID, you can get a copy of your ambulance report.
