Emergency Preparedness

Emergency Preparedness

We have all been watching the news lately and seen reports of various disasters effecting different parts of the country. A number of questions have come into the Village Hall regarding what steps each of us can take to prepare for the types of events that could affect our area.

On this page you will find helpful links to information and videos that will help you prepare your family, home or business for both man made and natural disasters. The links provide information for adults and activities for children all of which are designed to help you be prepared.

I urge you to take a few moments to familiarize your self with some of the information which is available. Make a plan for your family and prepare an emergency kit for your home or business. We can’t always avoid disasters but together we can help make our families and community better prepared to deal with an emergency.
