4. Coloring Book Contest
5. Career Night Presentation
6. Senior Fire Safety
7. Fire Station Tours: Tours of the fire stations are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am – 4pm for groups of children aged 6 or older, and are typically a half hour in duration. Tours must be scheduled in advance by calling 708-499-7700, or go to “
Forms/Permits/Licenses
”
8. Fire Extinguisher Demonstrations and Training
9. Home Fire Inspections: In a continuing effort to educate the public in fire safety measures, the Oak Lawn Fire Department offers home safety inspections by request to resident at no cost. Department personnel will visit your home to review your smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, heating devices, electrical cords and all exits to your home.
