The Village of Oak Lawn has a Senior/Handicapped bus that is available for Oak Lawn residents on Monday, Thursday, and Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
You will need a special Village of Oak Lawn ID bus pass. To receive the pass you need to fill out an application, that you can obtain at the Senior Center. When the form is completed, return it to the Center. A pass will be mailed to your home.
When you wish to use this bus service, you must make an appointment 24 hours in advance. Monday requests will be taken on Friday. Call for Reservations between the hours of 8 a.m. and Noon the day before you wish to use the bus. The number to call is 499-7090.
This bus will take you anywhere within Oak Lawn and will also go to Chicago Ridge Mall.
