ROADWAY RESURFACING

The Village of Oak Lawn is scheduling roadway resurfacing operations at and adjacent to the following three intersections:

  • Southwest Highway and Cicero Avenue
  • Southwest Highway and Central Avenue
  • Southwest Highway and 95th Street
Pavement restoration extents of the roadway resurfacing are attached here.  This work is scheduled to be conducted between April 16 and May 10.

SCHEDULE UPDATE HERE

The work will be divided into three stages:

  • Stage 1: Removal of existing pavement. Scheduled to start April 16  between 7 PM and 5 AM. 
  • Stage 2: Install the first layer of new pavement. Scheduled to start April 18, between 7 PM and 5 AM. 
  • Stage 3: Install the final layer of new pavement.  Scheduled to start by May 1.
The schedule is dependent upon the weather.  Temporary lane closures will be required to conduct the work; therefore, traffic congestion is expected. Driveways and side streets may be temporarily inaccessible as the work progresses along the roadways.
